## GAP insurance: closing a financial gap

Imagine your financed vehicle is totaled early in your loan. Your insurance pays the car's current market value-but you still owe the lender the original loan amount. That gap between the two can be thousands of dollars. **GAP insurance covers it.**

**When it helps most.** New vehicles depreciate quickly. If you put a small down payment and finance a high amount, the gap is larger and more likely to matter in the first few years.

## Extended protection products

Beyond GAP, our Finance team can discuss other protection options-like extended service contracts, wear-and-tear coverage, or roadside assistance packages. These are optional add-ons tailored to give you extra peace of mind.

**Each product has limits and exclusions.** Some cover mechanical repairs after the factory warranty expires; others reimburse tires, glass, or emergency services.

## Review during financing

Your best opportunity to evaluate GAP and protection products is during the Finance conversation, after you've chosen your vehicle. Our Finance team will explain what's available, what each covers, and the cost-so you can decide what makes sense for your situation.

**Ask questions.** During your purchase, tell our Finance team about your concerns-long-term plans, how much you drive, etc.-so they can recommend what fits. **Call (708) 422-9300** to learn more.
