## Insurance is essential-and required

Insurance protects you financially if your vehicle is damaged, stolen, or involved in an accident. In every U.S. state, auto insurance is legally required to drive on public roads.

**Start before you drive home.** You'll need active coverage before you leave our lot. Many shoppers arrange insurance through their existing provider, while others shop for new quotes as part of their purchase.

## Coverage types explained

**Liability** covers damage you cause to others. **Collision** pays for damage to your vehicle from accidents. **Comprehensive** covers theft, weather, and non-collision damage. **Uninsured/underinsured motorist** protection guards you if the other driver lacks adequate coverage.

For financed or leased vehicles, your lender will require comprehensive and collision coverage (usually with a deductible). The exact amounts depend on your vehicle's value, your risk tolerance, and state minimums.

## Get quotes early

Don't wait until purchase day. Call your insurance agent or get online quotes a few days before you plan to buy-it's fast and free. Share your vehicle's VIN or model information to get accurate rates.

**Our Finance team can help coordinate.** When you're ready to buy, call **(708) 422-9300** and let them know your insurance status. We'll make sure everything aligns for a smooth handoff.
